Excellent roofing company, excellent work done. We got 4 bids before we had our house & garage roof replaced; we chose Sonrise, as they were the cheapest, and also had great online reviews. We were very happy with the process (communication with owners, the workers were friendly and efficient) and the result. Our roof looks great. Highly recommended!

If you need a re-roof in the Tri-City area, look no further. Sonrise Roofing is the cream of the crop. Earlier this year, I was sorely in need of a re-roof for my 1960s house. After procuring several bids, Sonrise was by far the most competitive and reasonable. In addition to my reroof, they installed gutters + leaf guards. They did impeccable work, and used top quality materials.

I really liked the fact they're the only roofer I know of who wraps your roof's vents in shingle-like materials (I'm not sure what the term for this is). It gives the roof a very polished look. A few of my neighbors recently did their roofs on my block, and mine looks the best! You need to know that many roofing companies that serve the Bay Area are based out of the Valley or Sacramento area, hence their bids will be much higher (more so now with the rising cost of gas).

In this respect it makes a lot of sense to use a local roofer. If you decide to go with Sonrise, know they're busy and there may be a wait. I paid my deposit in April 2021, and had my project scheduled for late June. Shortly after my roof project, I had solar panels installed. Unbeknownst to me, the solar contractor mistakenly drilled unnecessary holes in my roof and didn't seal one of them properly.

After October's heavy rains, I noticed a leak in my roof. I reached out to my project manager, Adeline, who promptly dispatched a repairman to take care of the issue. They later told me it was the solar contractor who did this, but they took care of the leak for me at no charge anyway. That's what I call customer service! Again, don't hesitate to go with Sonrise - they are the best at what they do.

Quoting by Adeline was good. Final results were satisfactory. The tear-down crew was great making sure that the items in the garage were covered during the process. My only issue, a major one, was with one of the roofing crew members not showing any respect for the customers' property. If not for this one unpleasant incident I would have given a full 5 Stars rating.

Gary showed up within 30 minutes of talking to me. He is one, maybe the only, honest roofing business owner left. I told him about other quotes I had received and he didn't understand what they could possibly do for what they were going to charge me for a roof leak. He has gained a new customer for life. I want to refer people to him but the only person I know with a damaged roof had it fixed already, please call Sonrise and give them a shot at your business. If you want an honest business that is prompt and hard working call Sonrise! If extra stars were available for honesty I would give them!

I've been meaning to write this for a couple of years. These guys did a great job at a very reasonable price. They came out at fixed a couple of minor issues which prompted me to get this done. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Like the look and durability of the stone coating. I would not hesitate to recommend and have done so.

It's been about two weeks since we replaced our roof with Sonrise. It was a joy working with Adeline and Kevin. Adeline was very response throughout. The quote was detailed and clearly laid out additional charges (mainly gutters and how wood rot would be charged). I opted to pay a bit extra for ridge vents and am glad I did. Especially in the garage it is a noticeable difference in venting the hot air out.

During the install, Kevin noted we couldn't retro fit our existing skylights. As they were a standard size, he kindly picked up 2 skylights from HD for us and billed us afterwards. Kevin wisely advised to cut back the beams over the garage to prevent future water damage, rather than just replacing them and having them rot later. He also added extra support where needed on our gutters.

The crew was professional and cleaned up afterwards. The supervisor used a blower to clean up the debris. There were a few nails here and there but nothing a magnet on a string can't solve. I'll update this review in 6 months, especially after rainy season. :)

I highly recommend Sonrise and the team to you. Amidst a pandemic, they were able to efficiently and smoothly quote, permit, schedule, tear-off, install gutters, roof, inspect, and clean-up. They are the best. I particularly like that this is a family business. Adeline is an excellent communicator letting me know what to expect before and after each step. Greg is a genuine artisan: does not only the roof but also gutters.

He is a gentle guy, but if you listen, he knows so much. Greg re-seated each of the skylights as well. Even owner Kevin, is up on the roof working. I was particularly impressed by Michael's eagle eyes, -able to stand on the roof and spot a screw on the ground. Special thanks to Michael for staying extra to take care of my special requests to silence 2nd story downspouts.

There was another person that I did not get to meet, but often the best are the quiet types. We obtained five hard quotes and Sonrise was awarded the contract. Two bidders came through neighbor referrals. Interestingly, Sonrise Roofing was new to me and among those that came through Yelp. Special thanks to those at Yelp that sorted them forward. Cannot wait for the rain.

It has been several years now and I have to say that the roof job buy Sonrise Roofing has been excellent. My neighbors commented about it at the time because of the detail in application. I have the only house on the block where all the roof vents are glassed to look like the roof material. Makes those roof vents disappear to some extent. Awesome work.

Kevin and his team did a great job on my roof. They also installed light tunnels - excellent work. Their work was speedy and the team left the work area clean at the end of each day. Their price was reasonable. Highly recommend. Five stars.

We had roof and gutter installed years ago from Sonrise. They did an excellent job.

I was in the process of getting solar on my roof but was at a crossroads as I knew the roof had reached it's end of life. The solar company provided an estimate to replace a section of the roof that was about 75% of what I ended up replacing for the entire house! John was great to work with through the process. The only feedback I would share with others is that don't wait as long as I did after getting the estimate as the price of roofing material can change quickly.

I needed more than 30 days to decide how I wanted to move forward and the pricing change was about 10%. so get your estimates, make a decision and move forward. You won't be disappointed with Sonrise.

Sonrise Roofing did my roof six years ago and I was very satisfied with cost, professionalism and reliability. I was out of the country for a year and when I came back there was clear evidence of a leak in the bedroom. But it was summer. This year I was here and the ceiling got pretty wet during our big rain storms. Kevin made several visit to make repairs and each time the same area got wet.

Finally I was found the leaky place in the attic and Kevin came again and spent quite a bit of time repairing the roof area where in a the tiny, obscure area the water was flowing around a a little corner and then down behind and under the "hog valley". Kevin refused payment, saying if he puts on a roof it shouldn't leak.

Buyer beware! I had this company install new gutters on my house, and they turned out looking good. BRIAN told me that I only need gutter guards on two of my gutters, because, there were no trees on the one side of my house. he, also, tried to convince me I needed a new roof (I'm a 75 year old woman, who lives alone). When I bulked, no leaks and I was on year 30 if 40 year shingles.

He said he would bring the shingle company rep to look at my roof.his mistake, because the rep said there was nothing wrong with the roof! Two things happened: (1) some how one of my down drains got kinked. And, (2) the gutters filled up with debris. Upon having someone check, I found gutter guards had only been installed in one side. I called them back and asked if they could repair the kinked portion and put guards on all the gutters.

After several calls, someone finally showed up and gave me a quote, and a date to do the work. They never showed! I have made several calls and have been repeatedly "jerked around". I've been assured that things would be taken care of.at this point, I wouldn't let them on my property. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO BUSINESS ETHICS!

I just got my new roof put on this past week (thank you Kevin and John). by the Sonrise crew, there were a couple of hiccups with the weather and sawdust and interior leaks but john came out and took care of it, So far so good, have to wait and see when it rains of the gutters and roof are good to go! Sonrise Roofing completed my roofing project last week. It included a new roof, some dry rot repair and new gutters. They provided the lowest estimate out of several companies. The work was estimated to take 3 days but was done in 2. Everything looks great and is working properly so far. Communication was good although was lost a few times waiting for the work to start (about a month).

The total cost for my 1,275 sq feet house was about $11,500 (+-: $9,100 roof, $1,200 dry rot repair & the rest for gutters) I would recommend Sonrise Roofing for their professionalism, price & quality of work.

Solid 5 Stars for Kevin and Sonrise Roofing. Kevin and his crew did everything they committed to and even more. Kevin let me know that I had a leak in a skylight and wanted me to know. He said he'd replace it at Home Depot's price, nothing extra. The roof looks great and best of all, he was the LOWEST quote I got. For me, it was almost 30% lower than the next lowest quote. We were trying to replace our roof, and we talked to several companies, then finally decided to use Sonrise Roofing. Adeline was wonderful for helping us from beginning to the end such as what kind of material, Sun tunnel, quotation, and contract. She was always patient and followed thru what she said. By mistake, my husband thought that there was no vent for kitchen, and the boss of the company came and investigated what happen. Finally we knew the vent was there. I'm grateful what Sonrise did for us.
