Most of my expenses are variable and flex with the market conditions. When bigger companies' overhead forces them to take losses or cut job quality, I don't have to.Unlike smaller companies, I am big enough that I run the business without carrying a hammer. I'm not trying to bridge the gap of being a worker AND a small business person. Companies with low ball quotes, where the owner also carries a hammer, are often less skilled at running a business and providing on-going support and warranty.

Jim and his team did an outstanding job, especially through the supply chain challenges across the marketplace due to Covid. High quality new siding work that even our realtor commented on as we got ready to sell our home. Jim always was there to help answer questions with transparency and options to meet our home needs. Our kitchen began leaking water during the snow storm over the holidays. Jim came out to the house the same day we contacted Emerald. He identified the issue with the original roof installation missing some flashing and came up with a plan to repair the problem. Communication was great throughout the process, and the work was done quickly with excellent quality. I would be happy to recommend Emerald to friends and will rely on them for any future roofing issues.

Jim and Jose are absolutely amazing with extensive knowledge about roof repair and home maintenance. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and detail orientated. He carefully inspects our home via flying the drone over my roof and going up the attic, and we knew his recommendations are actually reliable and grounded in facts. From the initial visit to completion of the project I was extremely satisfied with Jim and the team. Jim treated me more as family than just a customer. He was transparent, communicated well, and provided the most honest quote for the siding and window work I had done. He helped me identify the right materials, worked extra to get the best deals on windows and lumber, and the team performed excellent work. No corners were cut. After a year and heavy rains everything is holding up extremely well and Jim still checked in on satisfaction.

Emerald State was highly recommended by a co-worker, so I made sure they were one of the companies that I had provide me a quote for a roof replacement. I met with Jim and had an excellent conversation with him about roofing and he provided me with a wealth of knowledge regarding the roofing process and what to look for in a contractor. I'm glad that Jim was the first person I met with to provide a quote because he help make me a more informed customer.

I ended up selecting a company located in my city since I like to support local businesses when possible and other factors are equal. We had our roof, siding, and painting done by Emerald and we are very pleases with their work. First, I had several contractors provide bids to replace our siding on the back of our house that had been beaten up over 20 years due to wind and rain exposure. After 20 years I was thinking that we needed to replace all the sidings. Jim from Emerald was the only person who said that the other 3 sides of the house were find and replacing the back is all that was needed. Well, that certainly saved us quite a bit of money.
The roof work was fine. There was one issue after they were done but when I contacted Jim, he had someone come by immediately. Painting - We wanted to paint our house white with black trim. We were quite sure about the sheen but Jim's advice was on point. We selected lustre finish and the house turned out great. I don't have the painter's name but he and the small crew did a great job. Very happy with the results. Would definitely hire Emerald again and Jim is fantastic to work with. Cheers!

There are so many choices for a roofing company. We reached out to a few of them and Jim was the first one to contact us. He is very personable and took time to explain to us about different materials, pricing, time to complete. He came across as trustworthy. While we did check the other quotes, which were relatively lower, we went with Emerald state.
As mentioned, the roofers led by Heaver were there at the said time. Heaver answered all the questions I had. They did a very professional job and cleaned up the place really well. All in all, I was super happy with how the roof turned out and Kudos to Jim, Heaver and team for a great job. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Todd and Jim are the coolest roofers ever. I was on a tight schedule to get the roof leak repaired and they were truly a godsend. If you want your roof replaced / repaired you can call any roofer, but if you need a friend who is honest, works hard, and cares for your family & property and happens to know all about roofs, call Emerald State. Winter 2020 the Seattle area was hit by storm after storm with Covid ongoing.
Every roofer told me to wait 8 weeks, or replace the entire roof, or simply try someone else. Jim came over the next day and the crew completed the work a week later. We had a very hardworking crew who did quality work replacing our roof in less than ideal weather. There were a couple of issues that came up with the supplier, which seemed to be of their hands, but Jim did his best to be accommodating towards us given the situation. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. We've been happy with the overall work and product.

These guys were fast and fair. Jim is an absolute stand up guy and worked with us through the entire process. Made sure we thought everything was fair and really made sure we understood what was happening. Honestly Jim was what won the bid. He responded within minutes all through the process and even helped me understand what had happened with the leak(why we needed a roof).

I am a realtor and my client used Emerald State to install a new roof and new siding prior to listing their home. Todd was amazing to work with! He kept me in the loop on when the roof and siding was going to be done so we knew when we could schedule photos. He went above and beyond for my clients to get the work done so they could list on time. During a fairly heavy rain storm, we noticed water was coming in through a window frame. Immediately figured water had found a way in from the roof, creating a path to the window. Contacted a neighbor who had Emerald State do work for them within the past month, happy with the service they received. Within a few hours of leaving a voice mail, I was contacted by Jim. Explained the issue and he was able to come out later that day to inspect and provide a quote.
What was interesting is he used a drone to perform a visual inspection and take pictures. The crew came over the following day to begin repairs. Won't go into the details about the entire job. Needless to say, they found where the leak originated and placed a ice and water barrier, new shingles and additional flashing. The crew was very professional, they did a great job post repair clean up.
Prior to the crew finding the actual point of entry for the water the following day. Jim went above and beyond by coming to the house during the evening, while it was raining to get onto the roof to place an additional temporary barrier as water was still leaking in through the window.

Emarald State did a great job replacing my roof! Two layers of old composition plus complete tear off of the old plywood decking due to water damage and the crew made it look easy. The finished product looks REALLY good! I would definitely recommend Emerald State if you are looking at having your roof replaced.

Make sure you contact Emerald State before making the final decision for your home remodel. We contacted Emerald State for our roof, and Jim Oakley was extremely fast to respond and be available for consultation and a quote. We received three quotes from different roofers and Emerald was the closest to our research results and budget. We decided to go with Emerald State LLC and were extremely surprised at how smoothly the project progressed.
The roofing crew worked every day tirelessly and without taking any breaks! The project was completed within the promised time, and the work area was cleaned EVERY day. Tools and supplied were tidied up and not a single nail could be found in the ground (something I was worried about). The finished product was extremely well done and beyond expectations. Highly recommended contractor who deserve highest recognition!

We needed a new roof. We hired Emerald State in early April one of our rainiest months and our roof was a leaky mess! They put a large tarp over the problem area until the rain subsided and then they got to work and were able to start and finish within a few days. There was a fair amount of damage and many areas needed replacement boards as well. His crew was great and cleaned up like they were never there every day!
During the process they put the tarp back on as needed which was very much appreciated! The price was good, the work & crew were great & I would hire them again for other services if needed.

We interviewed 3 roofing and window installation companies and did some research but after all found Todd Sinicrope, the owner of Emerald State Roofing, window, siding company the most trusting and honest one who offered the best quote. We signed a contract with him to replace the roof, windows, doors and gutters. We are so happy with his and his crew's services who maintained the highest standard.
