Fine quality work! Did more work than specified than in the contract, due to a misunderstanding by the workers on the job site, and did not change the price of the job! Repair work of the flashing around the chimney was great - no leaking in the subsequent (very hard) rains. The metal roofs were repaired and painted. Very neat, no paint spatters.

The job was done timely and professionally. The workmanship was excellent. Joe De Shazo even volunteered to do some minor temporary repairs, without cost, to prevent water intrusion when he showed up to give an estimate even before the job was awarded to De Shazo Roofing. Would highly recommend them!

A couple years back, we had a roof leak and called DeShazo to come look at it. They determined it was the vent pipes allowing water in at the seams. They replaced them and I thought we were squared away. Then, in 2021, we had more leaks. I called them back out and they told me the vent pipes were leaking *again*. They told me the replacement collars THEY PUT ON had cracked bc they were plastic.

Essentially they put in faulty product that failed and then charged me to replace it a second time using a different material. I told them I had paid them once for this exact fix and they didn't seem to think it mattered. They charged me again anyway. We can't trust that whatever fixes they do are quality, so we will never hire them again. Edited in response to the company's response: I did call when it occurred, asked to speak to the manager/owner.

They told me nothing could be done. I had to pay again. Why am I posting my review now? Because we are *still* working to repair the damage to our ceiling from the FAULTY product YOU installed. You are responsible for the products you install, period. Not only that, I'm supposed to believe metal vent collars weren't available in 2019?

I needed to replace my roof immediately due to insurance reasons. I called around and got 5 estimates. Matt provided the most clear and concise proposal to me within 24 hours. He took the time to answer all my questions and was able to move around schedules to replace my roof within a week. Deshazo and Son even price matched another offer I received. Matt brought by samples of shingle colors and came by the next day after install to ensure everything looked good.

I hired DeShazo to install a replacement roof on my home in 2015. They were recommended by a General Contractor I know and trust. They did an excellent job and were very neat. They moved like a NASCAR pit crew and finished the whole process in just over 1 day. Two years later I had a house fire and one section of the roof was burned. They quickly came out on a weekend to repair the roof for me. They even cleaned out all the gutters for me while they were here. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and professionalism.

Absolutely the best roofing company in the Richmond area! The front office staff are professional and very friendly. The roofing crew showed up bright and early and never stopped working. A great group of guys with extremely wonderful work ethic. They kept the work site clean and organized. Matt, the project manager is top notch at his job. Our roof suffered major damage from a storm and our insurance company did their initial inspection and paid out the cost for the damages.

I felt there was more damage and called Deshazo and Son and they sent Matt (he gave up his lunch hour) to inspect my roof. He found quite a bit more damage and took pictures, worked out an estimate and sent it to my insurance agency. The insurance agency agreed to come back out and walk the roof with Matt. Matt was actually off of work the day the second inspection was to take place (his wife had just had a baby) but he willingly gave up his day off and walked that roof again pointing out the damage that was missed.

We ended up getting a considerable amount covered by insurance and that was ONLY because Matt took the time to go up there with the insurance adjusters. I can not sing his praises enough. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable at his job. We went with a total roof replacement and could not be happier with the work and professionalism of Matt and the entire Deshazo company.

Matt and his team are top notch. He's located not too far from our Glen Allen home, so DeShazo and Sons was our first call. But if you know anything about me, I am a fanatic about calling around to get proposals for the best price. We were in a time crunch because we needed to have the roof installed before we put our house on the market. I called a number of roofers and most were 6-8 weeks out because of the hail storms.

I told Matt my dilemma and he came to our rescue. He and his Team assesed the damage on the roof, took pictures for the insurance company, and had the job finished within a week and a half. It only took his guys 2 days to install the roof! And, out of all the companies I called, the pricing was within our budget. Amazing!
