My 30-year roof began to fail after only 10 years. The relatively new organic shingles had failed in the sun and were covered under a class action law suit. We noticed it quickly enough because the roof suddenly looked terrible, 50-years old at least. Nu-Way was one of several quotes. Their price was close to a few others, but quoted premium (the pink cat) brand shingles.

We hired Craig because he is the only contractor who bothered to go up on the roof to see how bad it was. He could tell the roof was solid and quoted appropriately. He appeared as surprised as we were by the condition of the shingles on the West, sunny side of the house. The East, shady side was like new. Nu-Way fit us in before it snowed. Craig showed up when he said he would and finished within the time he estimated.

It's now three years later and the roof looks great. We appreciated that Craig was responsive, reliable and did nice work. When we decided it was time to shingle the garage, which didn't have failing organic shingles, we called Craig. He told us the garage roof was in decent shape. We hired him anyway so the two roofs match. Craig at Nu-Way has earned our loyalty. EDIT: We filed our own claim with the class-action settlement. Mentioned because Craig/Nu-Way went up on the roof and recognized that it was in quite good shape even though the shingles looked far past their prime.

Craig was very professional. I called him earlier in the week about a roof issue. He mentioned that due to rain and other jobs he would not be able to look at the roof til that Saturday morning. He called first thing Saturday and was over to my house within the hour. He accessed the issue and did a great job in resolving the problem. He gave me a fair and reasonable price. Nu-Way Builders just completed a job for a new roof and gutters at my residence. Craig and his crew were dependable and clean. I have a dog and the crew made sure the yard was free of nails and debris each evening. They were also polite and answered each question and concern I had regarding the job. I had a concern around my fireplace chimney and Craig and his crew made sure the solution will keep that area free of water issues.

In addition, Craig does not tear off the entire roof at one time. He does the roof in sections making sure each evening that the roof is sealed until the next day's work, no worries of a leaky roof!
