3R Roofing

The ConservED Project has partnered with David Coddington of 3R Roofing to provide installations of our Solar Sheet, Solar Air Heating systems. 3R has done a great job with our customers and has provided a high level of quality, integrity and thoughtfulness to their work. Together we designed a roof that looks nice, is durable, will reduce heating and cooling needs, and is made of recyclable materials.

David Coddington and his crew did a fantastic job on our home and husband's workshop, a retired custom home builder. It isn't easy to please a perfectionist like my husband but they did! The crew was meticulous, curious and got this massive job done on time. Thank you!

We worked with David Coddington and Eli of 3R Roofing in August 2018 to have our hail-damaged roof and gutters replaced. They were fantastic. We had them install soffit vents and bathroom fan vents to bring our roof up to modern code standards and 6" gutters to better handle the massive amounts of rain our large roof collects during monsoon storms.

The flashing around the skylights looks great, the soffit vents are nicely spaced, placed out of view of the windows, and well-squared relative to the house walls. The downspouts with hinged attachments were all assembled to have handmade latches to catch the hinged section when they are pulled up. Everything went smoothly and David and Eli handled all of our concerns and questions quickly.

On top of that the crew picked up after themselves at the end of each day, and they carpooled so we only had to accommodate parking for one truck for each crew working on a given day. The final price was the estimated price plus the plywood replacement cost and the 3R estimate was in the same ballpark as another roofer we had bid the job. Best of all, there was no pressure to "sign now" or increase work scope or do anything that we saw from other roofers who were storm-chasers (following the insurance claims from our big hail storm). We would happily recommend 3R Roofing and their crews to anyone who needs quality roof work and a good price!

3R Roofing is one of the most reliable roofing companies in the Front Range. They have a great personal touch when it comes to dealing with customers, and will always give you a fair deal. I have personally witnessed their workmanship, and it is top-notch. I highly recommend you call 3R Roofing when considering bids for any roofing job, particularly skylights (I believe that they specialize in skylights and have done quite a few skylight jobs in Boulder and beyond).

David with 3R Roofing is amazing! We searched and searched for the best Roofing contractor in Boulder. We spoke with many overpriced and/or rude companies. After all the headaches we found David from 3R. He is by far the BEST! It was a great decision to hire him for our roof repair. He was very polite and answered all of our questions. Pricing was fair and the job was completed in a timely manor. We will be using him and his team for all our roofing needs in the future.

3R Roofing LLC is by far the best value for your money. Friendly, courteous, and professional. The contractor's are always quick to share information that will help prolong the life and condition of your home. I've had them do roof repairs on two of my homes and will be hiring them to replace the roof on the home I just moved to in the next couple of months. 3R Roofing was highly recommended to us by a friend of a friend who does quality construction and remodeling in the Boulder area. When we met David we realized he was a solid and sincere individual. He helped us through our choice of new shingles and underlayment, help redesign our venting system, and provided us with a very competitive bid for our 65 square shake replacement (that we were paying for ourselves).

His crew was very efficient and courteous. Cleaned up each night. Being an engineer, I quietly paid attention to the details of the installation and was very pleased. The county inspector smiled and said "you've got yourself a beautiful roof here." I couldn't be more pleased.

We selected David Coddington/3/R roofing after on online search of local companies. 3R had good reviews, and we were especially impressed by David's knowledge and commitment to the environment. Ours was not a big job, but a challenging one as there were longtime elusive and unaddressed leaks. David spent a lot of time brainstorming possible options and finding shingles to best match our old ones.

He checked in repeatedly to make sure that the job was being done correctly, and has checked back later to make sure the leaks were stopped. Even though this was not a big money maker for him, he treated is as though it was his most important house. He and his staff are extremely professional and easy to get along with.
