Nelson Exteriors

I have hired Nelson Exteriors twice. They have painted the interior and exterior of my house, including trim. Both times, I have been pleased with the quality of workmanship, the ease of the estimate process, and the staff, who are friendly and responsive. I will continue to recommend the company, as well as hire them for any future needs. Highly recommend.

Great customer service and quality of work. Dustin was the Project Manager and he went above and beyond for me. From top to bottom this organization was a pleasure to work with and i could not be happier with the results.

We called and Scott Nelson came out within a week and sent a detailed estimate of what we needed and wanted (new roof, hardie plank on 3 sides, several new windows, and painting the house front). No high pressure - a lot of suggestions. Due to rain, it took several days before they could begin, but once they started, they came early, stayed late, and completed the job efficiently and as quickly as they could. Dustin was a great project manager - very detail oriented, professional, knowledgeable, and genuine. Had a great personality. Every one of the workers was pleasant and knew what he/she was doing. I would recommend Nelson Exteriors to anyone.

I had an issue with some of the work once it was completed. Nelson responded quickly and efficiently and were very apologetic. The problem was rectified as soon as the weather allowed and they followed up with a phone call to ensure my full satisfaction. You can measure the quality of a company by the way they handle issues and these guys were outstanding!

Several months ago. I hired Nelson Exteriors to do some trim and siding replacement. We had looked and looked but Nelson ended up being the right choice. While they were here doing the job the project manager and the entire crew were extremely courteous to my wife and curious neighbors. They were in and out and got the job done as they said. Afterword the manager didn't hand me an invoice, say they're done and wave as he ran down the stairs of my porch to his truck.

He pulled me back outside and did a comprehensive walk through of what was done and Pointed out where they did the work. Which I'm glad he did because the paint matched so well you could hardly tell! Nelson Exteriors was referred to me by a number of people on the NextDoor neighborhood site, and was already in their recommended section for satisfied customers. We have received many compliments on our house after they completely repaired, resided and painted the entire outside of our home, to include door and window replacement. I obtained 4 estimates, and not only was Nelsons the least expensive, but they included several things the competition did not.

Everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. The project manager came to the site every day, and talked to me numerous times while the house was being worked on to make sure we were all on the same page. I feel they went what I would consider "above and beyond" in their scope and duty. I would use them again without hesitation, and highly recommend them.

My small, but very vertical job went very well. During the dismantling of my chimney a giant mirror came loosen. from the the bathroom wall. Miraculously, it did not break. Kevin , the supervisor and one of the workers helped me save it . They were careful, clean and very certain to explain what was happening. I will certainly call them if I need exterior work done!

We contacted Nelson Exterior for quote to replace our siding, from the initial contact with Mrs. Lisa and meeting Mr. Fred Boyd for an estimate all the way through completion of the project and making payment to Mrs. Ebony it has surpassed our expectation. The crew arrived earlier than scheduled time, the container to load the waste was rolled in on two wheels so it does not damage the drive way unlike many companies that place a dumpster in your drive way. The start of project, installation and clean up after the completion has been a true 5 star, the entire team truly did care to make us a future customer.

Complete siding replacement, door replacement, soffit and fascia repair and exterior painting was the work that was required on our 32 year old house. After getting 5 quotes, we chose this company after much research online. They did a really good job. Our project manager Dustin was outstanding! He was here daily (3 wk. job) and addressed every concern and did a great job coordinating the different crews. We are pleased with the new look of our home!

Nelson Exteriors carried out 3 projects for us and did not bill us until all three jobs were finished to our satisfaction. Their workers were highly skilled, efficient and responsive to our needs. Our neighbors are full of compliments! First, they replaced our rotting siding with Hardie Board siding (30 year warranty). They replaced 4 old windows with quality new vinyl windows.

To give us light in our dining room the salesman, Ryan O'Connor, ordered 3 vinyl windows made in one unit with a half round window on top. The crew expertly cut a new space in our exterior wall for this beautiful new natural light source! Second, Nelson's painting crew used 4 professionally chosen colors that we agreed on to make our house look new again! Third, their gutter crew put up new bronze gutters with leaf guards to coordinate with our bronze doors and shutters.

They carefully evaluated exactly what we needed for new downspouts. The result is an attractive, functional gutter system. We loved our experience with Nelson Exteriors - they were incredibly professional, responsive, and did amazing work! They recently installed new board & batten siding on our house and painted the entire exterior of our home. It looks amazing! The communication between our Project Manager and the crew was exceptional, and we were so happy with the way the project was done.

Nelson Exteriors did work replacing deck and railing and able to use existing deck box to save on costs. The staff and crew were great providing patience with our questions, concerns, and scheduling all of which was great customer service and end result. Working with Ebony at the office was just great adjusting scheduling and ordering which was done very effectively, patiently, and gave us good options and results.

The project manager Dustin was just great working with us regarding some situations, discussing options, and offering alternatives. Could not have been better. He estimated the effort duration and delivered right on schedule. Issue resulting from product item orders that were wrong were handled quickly on return visit. Issues with unusual railing install was handled with revisit simply by reviewing situation, attempting different options until it was resolved.

The sub contract crew also was very good working with us and very aware of the surrounding property to take care protecting surroundings and cleaning up the area. Would recommend Nelson Exteriors to others.

We had our siding replaced and painted the exterior. We came up with a design to fix some of the exterior detractors that always bothered us. We had a 3 story wall with no windows and we now have siding with board and batten. The team was fast and efficient with the installation and painting. And we had tools to check out design colors before we started.

My wife and I recently had a project to replace our siding and paint the outdoors. We also wanted to go ahead and replace our windows from 1986 as well at the time. Being that we were replacing siding and windows we also decided to move a window about 2 feet to the right. We had a large list of things and wanted to find someone who was able to work through everything we wanted with quality work and in a timely manner. Nelson Exteriors was the perfect fit for us!

From the start Rob came out and did a fair and thorough estimate walk through was very professional. After going through about 6 companies and reading reviews on windows and BBB ratings on each we decided not to cut any corners. We went with Nelson and that was a good decision. We decided on ordering the Marvin Elevate series windows and due to all of the manufacturing limitations out there it took about 8 weeks to get them in.

Once the windows were in Nelson quickly got us on the schedule and started the job in a quick timely manner working around the weather as they could. Our project manager Dustin was awesome as well! He kept close watch over the project and supplies and helped us out every way he could. He was always available for any questions and really knew what he was doing.

He brought in professional siding crews who came in and knocked it out quickly and they provided very quality work while Dustin himself hung the windows. The painting crew had weather issues but were quick to try to schedule in what they could and by the final walk through everything was perfect! We are very pleased with the quality of the work the product and the experience we had working with Nelson! From our experience we would highly recommend them and the their crews! We highly recommend Nelson Exteriors. Our traditional two-story house was built in 1982, has a brick front and lap siding elsewhere. Though it had been painted a few times over the years, it badly needed repainting. However, in addition, our old lap siding and wood trim was damaged by weather, carpenter bees, and woodpeckers, and so we knew from past paint jobs much would need replacing.

We decided to this time start clean with an all-new HardiePlank exterior that would last decades longer and and increase the value of our home. We decided on Nelson Exteriors to replace the siding, trim boards, soffits, and fascia, and then paint and give the house a fresh new look. (We also used Nelson's designer to help us select colors.) This was a huge job to demolish the old exterior, completely rebuild a new exterior, and paint two coats.

The crews from Nelson pulled this off in a matter of days and did an amazing and highly professional job. Dustin is a top notch project manager, great at communication, coordination, and making recommendations. Hats off to the carpentry crew who did high quality work, not just replacing what was there, but greatly improving the total look in many ways. Alex's paint team were also very skilled and professional.

This is the type of job you don't want to try to have done on-the-cheap, and you can trust Nelson Exteriors to be home-improvement partners and to do a great job at a reasonable cost.
