Before I called Southern Home Services, I couldn't stop worrying about how much it would cost to fix my leaky roof. The roofers came to my house and let me know what they found in less than an hour. The price they quoted was well below what others charged, and I'm incredibly happy with the work they did.

Our house was built in 1989 with the "fashionable" Masonite siding. While I had done some DIY repairs on the siding and windows over the years, it never lasted long and the exterior looked horrible. When we decided to finally invest in replacing everyting, we received quotes from several companies. After a thorough walk-through with SHS and a neighbor's endorsement, we choose them to replace the siding as well as the windows.
That was almost 2 years ago and the house still looks great. We have had neighbors come by and ask who did the work and have asked if they could take pictures. We also seen people driving by taking pictures. The SHS crew was very professional, courteous and, frankly, we enjoyed having them here despite the undertaking since both of us work from home.
They completed the work on time and we had only a couple of minor changes(given the size of the project, I was prepared for more). For each of them, the owner and I either discussed via phone or he came out to visit and we easily resolved. Given our budget at the time, we weren't able to complete the fascia and soffit replacement but we will be contacting SHS to do that work as well as some work on our screen porch. Great company, great people.

Great experience with this company. We had new windows installed, siding and roof work. From the very beginning these guys were outstanding. Great communication from beginning to end of project. They were timely, listened to all concerns, crew was great, respected our property and left job site clean. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend Southern Home Services.

Southern Home Services replaced our shingles due to hail damage and repainted the outside of our entire home. Their crews are extremely skilled and were very responsive to our specific needs. Their contracts are very easy to read and understand and Rob Dunn, their representative was always available when we needed to communicate with him. Their prices are fair, their quality of their work is exceptional and after the work is finished, they return to do a walk around to see if you are satisfied.

I contacted Southern Home Services because the siding on my house was in bad condition and needed to be replaced. I spoke with Rob Drumm at SHS and he was able to provide a proposal to install Hardi-Plank siding due to its durability and warranty. The work was performed by a highly skilled team lead by Juan and Jairo. The men arrived to work promptly each day and were very diligent in getting the job done.
They cleaned up each day and were very receptive to any questions I had while the work was being done. They performed excellent work down to every detail. The men did a fantastic job and my house looks brand new. I am very pleased with the work of Southern Home Services and recommend them highly.

SHS re-sided our home with Hardie siding-- These folks were amazing to work with, from the initial consult and detailed proposal from Chris M, to the project mgr Travis S who was on site often and responded quickly when we had questions, and the crew supervised by Jairo R. They took care not to damage our new cladded windows, cleaned up after each of the 5 work days, and came back to follow up on a few minor punch list items. They were the middle quote of the 3 we obtained, and absolutely worth every penny! We would definitely work with them again, and highly recommend their company!

Southern Home Services has helped me with many repairs over the last 5 years. They have repaired and replaced some siding; they have also replaced a roof and some windows when the window sills were rotted out. They provided Hardy board siding, a hip roof with fan, a new patio with stamped concrete. Sean and his team were excellent to work with. Throughout the project, Sean stopped by each day to make sure the work was completed correctly. Sean was very responsive to all of our questions and quick to follow up. It has been a pleasure working the team at Southern Home Services on updating and repairing the exterior of my house. I had windows and dormers repaired that had rotten wood, maintenance free siding and trim added, 6 gutters with guards installed, and the windows and doors painted. I am well pleased with the results. Project Manager Travis coordinated this project so the everything progressed smoothly.
Almost daily during this project two craftsmen Jose and Hugo were working on my house. I was impressed with how well they performed as a team when they focused on the best ways to complete the work. I had some rot in my windows that they were able to replace so I still have my original windows. They repaired my dormers with solid materials making them look new.
They were careful to work safely, especially in the high parts of my house. I attached a couple pictures of my house. There was never a question or doubt in the direction they were going as they progressed. Each day I was impressed with their positive attitudes and expert craftmanship. They treated me well and answered any questions I asked. Many of my neighbors have commented on how nice my house looks and I have been asked by some about the company since they need work done so I shared about my positive experience with SHS. I consider myself a fortunate homeowner having SHS renew my house. I could not be more pleased!

We chose Southern Home Services to replace/repair our siding on our home in Charlotte, NC. We live in the Southpark area & have strict HOA guidelines to follow. Shawn, the owner, helped us present our colors, product specs etc & we were approved without hesitation. His crews are courteous, efficient & his pricing was affordable.
