I just recently had a leak on my flat roof home and I contacted Amerus Roofing. Bob Underhill came out to my home and was very professional and was straight up no nonsense. Bob offered us the best solution to for our flat roof home, which was TPO. After Bob's crew installed the new roof, I gotta say I'm very impressed and happy with the work. I would definitely recommend Amerus Roofing to anyone.

Overall Poor Workmanship, horrid quality, overcharged for what was done, lack of professionalism, used untrained people, refusal to honor its Warranty and failure to finish the job correctly. My home continues to leak each time it rains resulting in extensive interior damage. Am now forced to take legal action. Never use this company. In response to Amerus comments: If there was a roof inspection as this person states, why was I, the owner, never notified of such.

I've had roofs in other properties inspected and I am always provided notice by both roofer and inspector as any professional would do. Amerus fails to admit that he failed to obtain a permit as required by law and did not do so, until after the first time my roof leaked following h is work and I visited the City and discovered that Amerus had failed to obtain a permit.

He had to do so and was charged a penalty for his violation. The gutter excuse was made after the the roof leaked and so much water accumulated in the ceiling causing the ceiling to collapse damaging my furnishings, drapes, window blinds and mud all over my hardwood floors (as my home is Adove). The gutters were never the problem. There had been minor leaks and Amerus was hired to prevent further damange. However, after the first rain, there were leaks in places that had not leaked before.

Any responsible owner who pays a company thousands of dollars would expect a roof that does not increase the leaking! Had he not hired unlicensed, untrained and unsupervised workers, the job would have been done according to standards. Having had a father who worked in both residential and commercial building from the ground up and, I, having worked in construction regulations, and having spoken with the different unsupervised Spanish speakers that Amerus left on my roof each time it was not difficult to understand why excessive leaking was the result.

His own "fixer" informed me that Amerus spent more money paying him to fix the problems that could be avoided. The Spanish speakers also informed me that Amerus (Bob) was more interested in the money so he would have too many jobs going at once. It was explained that due to recent criminal records, this was the only work they could get. The foam roof that was applied to the back part of my home over 20 years ago has yet to leak. Interestingly, the same hail and the same amount of water that hits the front part of my home hits the back part and yet, my ceilings in the back have never leaked or collapsed as the work Amerus did just after the first rain.

After dealing with this extremely unprofessional and irresponsible company, I decided that Amerus just does not have the skill to properly apply a foam room nor does it understand what doing business with integrity means. If a gutter (that continues to work just fine) and degrading a customer for it's failures is its only defense, then that in itself speaks loudly for its lack of integrity.

As much attention as Amerus allegedly paid to my home, it did continue to leak, but no where near the gutter they hoped to blame (a well applied roof would not leak if indeed any gutter water or any amount of water accumulated) Because I no longer found it productive to deal with Amerus, I sought a truly qualified and more customer oriented person to ensure my roof would not leak. And, like the back roof, after all this time, I have not had any leaks. I would not have devoted so much of my time to this company had it had merely done its job the first or even the second time.

I recently discovered a leak in my roof! I contacted Amerus roofing! i recieved a quick professional response from them! The workers who showed up at my house were very helpful in locating my problem and explaining to my my situation! The work they performed was was quick and done in a very professional manner! The problem was fixed and even the damage on the inside from the leak was once again done in a professional manner! Was so happy with their professional and quick response! will definately recommend Amerus roofing to anyone in need of a roofing company! A quality company and quality material! Bob Underhill and team installed a new 3D roof (lifetime roof) two years ago. High wind and weather recently damaged a few tiles. Raul Diaz and his partner were at the house within two days to assess. Once the snow melted and the wind died down they returned to repair. In less than a couple hours they checked the entire roof and repaired two damaged areas.

I had extra specialty tiles from the original install so there were no delays. I really appreciate the quick turnaround and professional repair work. Bob and team are the best. Thank you.

I was faced with the nightmare of a leak in my roof. lots of damage was done. Not knowing who to call I asked my friend for help. He recommended Amerus and stated that it was veteran owned. I to am a vet. I called and was greeted by a very nice and professional guy named Bob. He was very attentive to my roofing problems and damage to inside. He set up a time the next day to come and inspect.

He was very prompt and showed up early. He was very attentive and professional and got on roof to see my nightmare. He also looked at inside. We came up with an estimate which included a senior and veteran discount. The crew was scheduled to come. They were a professional, polite and courteous group. work was done in a timely fashion. I recently experienced a roof leak and found that the roof, which was installed by Amerus while occupied by the previous owner, was no longer under warranty; it had expired. Although the warranty was purchased by the previous owner and no longer valid, when I contacted Amerus, they responded immediately and made the necessary repairs at no cost. They went out of their way to make things right. They certainly exceeded my expectations.

Amerus installed a foam roof three years ago on my home. There were significant delays during the project, including waiting for some "new" dent(hail) proof material from Arizona. The equipment broke down and the "new" material never came to being true. We were told that we would receive a certificate indicating the assurance of the dent(hail) proof warranty, which we never did receive.

Shortly after completion of job our HVAC and electrician both noted serious low spots in roofing material which were holding water. We have had the company out at least 3 times, each time indicating that these were normal. When we called the company out time # 4 they informed us that the low spots were our fault because we had people walk on roof with shoes in.

At no time did anyone inform us that workers should not wear shoes on the roof, nor was there anything in writing with materials left with us at completion of job. The company now says we have hail damage and have been trying to get my insurance to pay for a new roof that they installed in an inferior manner. They also broke a skylight during roof installation and did not own up to it, they taped a piece of glass over the crack as a "fix" or rather a hide. They have admitted to doing an inferior job but insist that I sign a contract with them BEFORE they work up an estimate for the cost!

I never thought that I would need to find a roofing professional. I was wrong, when we got the hail storm in El Paso my roof was pretty damaged. So I started looking around for a company that would be reliable, honest, and that would have great credibility. After much searching I found AMERUS ROOFING! They were great! The job was done in a timely manner.

When I was selling my home, the buyers inspector required the roof to be replaced. My realtor suggested a roofer who met with the insurance company adjuster but my claim was denied. One of my neighbors suggested Amerus Roofing to handle the matter and resubmit the claim. Amerus representative Jason Morgan, did a thorough inspection, gathered information, and evidence for the claim and was instrumental in getting the claim for the roof replacement fully approved.
